Chock full of Workshops, professional Performances, Open Mic Stages, High Street Stage Performances, Raffle, Community Group Performances, Ukulele Marketplace, MUF Merchandise, MUF Kafe, Community Group Jam Sessions and all the hustle and bustle of busy Northcote!

Highlights

The Festival started on Friday with an AUTLA Professional Development Day and then the celebration opened with our first ever Friday Night Showcase Concert - highlighting most of our amazing workshop presenters all on one night - interspersed with other amazing Festival performers! Friday Night was a springboard to a wonderful weekend of ukulele!

Saturday was chock full of workshops, performances in venues up and down High Street - Chalice Church, Chalice Hall, Bar 303 Front Stage, Bar 303 Back Stage, Wesley Anne, Chalice Street Stage, Chalice Forecourt Stage, Northcote Town Hall!

The Saturday Night Concert was a highlight of the weekend headlined by none other the Ukulele Death Squad, Joe Man Murphy, Melbourne Ukulele Kollective and Yanai Morris. Everybody was dancing!

Sunday didn't let up - with more workshops and performances in High Street! Such a massive weekend enjoyed by the ukulele community!

FREE PERFORMANCES

Chalice Street Stage

Free program of performances on the stage in front of the Chalice Church brought alot of joy and energy to the Festival! 

 MUF Kafe &

Blackboard Stage

Chalice Hall

People were able to grab a drink, unwind and and and perform on the open mic Blackboard Stage!

MUF Marketplace

Chalice Hall

A smaller than anticipated Marketplace this year, but people too every advantage of MUF Merchandise, Tinct and Ukes of Oz wares.

Klub MUF

Bar 303

People strutted their stuff on the open mic stage! Some wonderful performances!

 

PIMP MY MUF

People entered into a ukulele decorating competition and showcased their art in Bar 303.

 

Community Group Jam Sessions

Chalice Forecourt

People were able to borrow a uke - donated by Tuned in Kids - and play with all of the community groups scheduled to play on the Chalice Forecourt Stage! It was a bit warm and sunny but people really enjoyed the line up!
