MUF's Magical Songwriting Competition!
MUF23 is delighted to unveil our own songwriting contest for 2023!
There is a strong culture of musicianship in the ukulele community and MUF wants to recognise this with a Festival feature event!
Independent artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit an original song featuring the ukulele as primary instrument.
First prize is $250 and the opportunity to perform your song on stage at the Saturday feature concert in the Chalice Hall.
Five artists will be shortlisted by the judging panel and all will be invited to present their works at the Sunday Wind-Down Party at the Wesley Anne!
Entry is via online submission with a $20 entry fee.
